Shane has been a senior partner and director of several leading international corporate advisory and corporate strategy firms prior to being a founder of Mainsheet.  He has broad experience in working with the management teams and boards of top 200 companies around high value transactional and strategic decisions.

His corporate advisory and corporate strategy philosophy is centred around measuring success in terms of client outcomes and their improved shareholder value creation performance.

Shane has a proven track record in relation to mergers, acquisitions, business divestments, privatisations, capital raising, corporate portfolio strategy, growth strategy as well as business restructuring and turnaround.

His industry experience includes mining, energy, engineering and construction, utilities, infrastructure services, defence, health, transport, communications, manufacturing and processing.

Shane has extensive senior advisory experience as well as many years as managing director and Board member of several international firms and prior to that operational management experience in the mining and oil & gas industry.

Prior to co-founding Mainsheet, Shane was a Partner at PwC where he was the National Head Mining and Oil & Gas Corporate Advisory practice. Shane also spend 10 years as joint MD of Mainsheet Corporate (which was acquired by PwC in 2009), 5 years as a Partner at LEK Consulting (Regional Manager S.E. Asia), 6 years at Marakon Associates and 4 years with Schlumberger in the Middle East.

Shane holds a MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and Diploma Mechanical Engineering (Adelaide), MBA (AGSM)

Stephen is an experienced corporate advisor with a blend of M&A, strategy and engineering skills. His experience includes over 20 years in corporate advisory and management consultancy and over 10 years in the commercial property industry in a variety of roles.

Stephen’s advisory experience includes M&A, divestments, capital raisings, business unit strategy, commercial due diligence and design & implementation of performance improvement initiatives.

His industry experience includes mining, oil & gas, ports, transport & logistics, equipment hire, utilities, defence, construction, FMCG, financial services, technology and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Mainsheet, Stephen worked as an independent advisor for several years and before that he held senior positions in PwC Advisory and Mainsheet Corporate.

Before becoming an advisor and management consultant, Stephen worked within AMP Capital Investor’s Commercial & Industrial Property Division as a Regional Operations Manager and was responsible for the operational management and business planning for over $2 billion of property assets in QLD and NSW. Stephen was also the Development Engineer on a $250 million retail property development and began his career as an electrical engineer.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Sydney and an MBA (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Ronan brings over 25 years of industry and consulting experience focused on strategy, growth, performance improvement and transactions across Europe, APAC, ANZ.

Ronan has worked with Private Capital clients on buy-side, portfolio value creation, exit readiness and sell-side roles. He specialises in market positioning, strategic growth and performance improvement for corporate clients.

Ronan has extensive M&A experience, supporting over 170 transactions, more than 100 commercial and operational due diligence engagements, 40 major integration and divestments, and the formation of numerous joint ventures, across retail, travel and transport, health and life sciences, construction and engineering, assets and infrastructure, technology and telecommunications, and financial services.

Marianne is a strategy professional with over 6 years of experience.

She holds an MSc. In Management from ESSEC Business School, Cergy (Paris).

Marianne previously served as a senior consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and an M&A analyst with Credit Agricole.

Her consulting experience includes growth strategy, supply chain strategy, network optimisation, GTM strategy and due diligence among others.

Within the M&A space, she has experience with deal origination, potential target / acquirer identification, company financial and strategic analysis.

Vetri is a strategy professional with over 6 years of experience.

He holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Prior to Mainsheet, Vetri was a senior consultant at Bain & Company and previously founded his own F&B brand.

His consulting experience includes growth strategy, sales excellence, process optimisation, cost transformation, change management and due diligence.

He has worked on CDDs in the logistics, property management and SaaS space with PE firms such as Tiger Global.

His industry experience includes logistics, energy, construction, BFSI, TMT and FMCG.

Marco has over ten years of management and consulting experience across several industrial value chains. During that time, he helped the companies he worked for shape and implement their operational strategies in the contexts of their individual fields—automotive, medical equipment, white goods, electric motors, luxury fashion, built environment, cybersecurity, and defence. Marco’s areas of expertise include strategic management, lean manufacturing, strategy implementation, project management, industrial automation, digital strategy, and Industry 4.0 implementation.

Before joining Mainsheet in 2022, Marco spent three years in Singapore as an Operations and Innovation Manager and Senior Consultant for New Value Group (NVG), a consulting company specialising in supply chain and operations improvement. Marco helped the company receive the honour of Best Italian SME in Singapore in 2022. Before Singapore, Marco was employed in managerial positions at Elica S.p.A. (Italy and Poland) and UNSW (Australia), working on the operations leadership team and the Built Environment Faculty, respectively.

Marco holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Hons) and a Master of Engineering (Mechanical) (Hons)—both from the University of Perugia—as well as an MBA (full-time) (with Excellence) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Lia is an experienced consultant with over 3 years of experience across management consulting and procurement.

She completed her BSc and MSc in International Business from Rotterdam School of Management and Bocconi University, Milan respectively.

Prior to Mainsheet, Lia was an associate with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and previously worked in Procurement at Nike.

Her consulting experience includes sales & marketing, pricing, digital transformation, people & organisation and climate & sustainability.

She has also worked on business plans, valuation models and reporting for private equity and fund management clients.

Her industry experience includes fashion & luxury, consumer goods, travel & tourism, healthcare and BFSI.

Prior to entering into the corporate advisory field, Thomas gained his professional experience over a combined five years in accounting and equity research, while obtaining his Master of Applied Finance degree with a specialisation in corporate finance.

Thomas is an experienced research and advisory consultant who has lead large-scale research efforts and who has published research reports in the following sectors:

Additionally, during his time as an accountant he gain considerable experience in the FMCG sector and dealt with a number of the larger companies in that sectors. Thomas also has experience in conducting financial due diligence in the ports and property sectors.

Rawad has over 5 years experience in financial services across various roles.
Prior to joining Mainsheet, Rawad worked in wealth advisory assisting sophisticated investors with managing equity portfolios. Rawad also has corporate finance experience, having worked on the capital raisings of private as well as ASX-listed companies.
Before that, Rawad worked at a couple of boutique investment firms as an equity research analyst. His focus was small to mid-cap ASX listed companies, with his industry coverage spanning consumer staples, financials, and emerging technologies.
Rawad has a Bachelors degree majoring in Economics as well as a Master of Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.

Steve has been involved in management and valuation consulting for over 25 years.  His primary interest and consulting focus is around assisting firms create value.   

His assignments have included development of corporate and business unit strategic and implementation plans, business valuations, capital expenditure appraisal and approval systems, cost of capital estimation and merger and acquisition advice.  In addition, he has conducted numerous business valuations for infrastructure assets for funds managers and super funds, for taxation purposes (for the ATO and corporates) as an expert witness for court cases and for Independent Expert Reports.  Steve has also been involved in the regulatory price setting process for Utilities since the process began in the late 1990s.

Steve’s experience in consulting since 1988 covers a range of industries, including Aquaculture, Chemical, Defence, Electricity (Distribution, Retail and Transmission), Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Food Processing, Gas, Golf, Health, Minerals, Paper Manufacture, Postal Services, Property, Rail, Retailing, Shipping and Transportation, Telecommunications, Water and Wastewater.

Steve co-founded a business specialising in business valuations (Value Adviser Associates), has been a partner in Mainsheet Corporate and LEK Consulting.  Prior to these positions he was a Senior Manager for Marakon Associates (an international value based management consulting firm) and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

In addition Steve has strong academic experience from his 13 years as a full time Corporate Finance academic and a continuing role in teaching in the Macquarie Masters of Corporate Finance program.

Steve holds a PhD from AGSM, UNSW, a M Com (Hons) from UNSW, a B Ec from Monash University and is a FCPA.

Ramesh is a seasoned business leader with 30+ years of strategy consulting and investment banking capabilities, and has held senior management and leadership positions at BCG, Port Jackson Partners, Credit Suisse, and most recently Chief Strategy Officer for Boral, with industry experience across industrial, construction, infrastructure, healthcare, and online retailing.

Peter has over 30 years experience in the engineering, consulting and infrastructure services industries, along with the packaging and finance and investment banking sectors. His senior management and leadership experience includes his appointment as CEO and MD of Calibre Group, CEO of Group Ventures, CFO of Downer EDI, and VP of Finance at Amcor.
